Floor Replacement

Sadly I did not take any before pictures while the suite was still in use but it was half tiled (which took the plasterboard on all walls with it and the bath had been leaking for a long time, thus state of floor.

The remaining walls were not that good either. The architrave for the door was one piece on the top and a small strip of quadrant for the right hand side.

Right hand wall had started to be plastered with one coat plaster but not supported with plastering scrim meaning it would crack in time.

The floor had to come up ready to be replaced and strengthened where needed.

A week or so of hard work, the floor is replaced, the walls repaired and plastered, and tiled, the bath fitted, and all pipework is replaced after the spaghetti junction of all bathroom pipework was discovered.

The small issue of the architrave still had to be addressed. So we fit two inch chamfered arc (to match the rest of the house) around all sides of the door including the 45 degree return on the right hand side.
